Terms of Service
These Terms govern MotorGrounds, operated by SOLUCIONES INTEGRALES DE SOFTWARE SOLINTSOFT TECHNOLOGIES S.A.S. (“Solintsoft”), Ecuador tax ID 0993407398001. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Service and scope
MotorGrounds lets customers find repair shops, request appointments and follow automotive services from the mobile app. The repair-shop web portal supports requests, work orders, inspections, customers, vehicles and related files. During the pilot, MotorGrounds does not process payments and is not a repair shop, insurer or automotive service provider.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must have legal capacity to contract and provide accurate, current information.
- You are responsible for your credentials and account activity.
- Shop accounts may only be used by authorized staff. The shop owner manages team access.
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
3. Appointments and the shop relationship
An appointment request is not confirmed until accepted by the shop. Displayed availability is calculated from the schedule, estimated service duration and configuration supplied by the shop. Diagnosis, scope, parts, final price, warranty and performance are agreed directly between customer and shop.
Displayed amounts are estimates. Additional services, taxes, parts, transportation or inspection findings may change the final amount, which the shop must communicate.
4. Vehicle pickup and delivery
Where available, customers may request pickup or delivery. The shop must confirm coverage, timing, conditions and final price. The customer must ensure that an authorized person hands over or receives the vehicle. MotorGrounds does not directly provide transportation.
5. Cancellations
Cancellations follow the Cancellation Policy. In the platform, customers may cancel while an order remains requested or confirmed; once work begins, changes must be coordinated directly with the shop.
6. Acceptable use and user-provided content
You may not use MotorGrounds for fraud, impersonation, illegal content, technical interference, unauthorized automated extraction, harassment, or conduct harmful to customers, shops, Solintsoft or others. Uploaded notes, images, and files must be relevant to the automotive service and may not contain nudity, graphic violence, threats, harassment, spam, fraud, illegal material, or content that infringes third-party rights.
The app lets users report shops or inappropriate content and block shops to prevent future interactions. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts where appropriate. If there is an immediate risk, contact the relevant authorities as well.
7. Content and intellectual property
MotorGrounds, its software, brand and owned content belong to Solintsoft or its licensors. You retain rights to content you upload and grant us a limited license to host, process and display it solely to operate the service.
8. Availability, suspension and changes
We may maintain the service, fix errors, change pilot features or suspend accounts that breach these Terms, providing notice where reasonable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, although we use reasonable measures to maintain the service.
9. Responsibility
Each shop is independent and responsible for its diagnostics, quotes, staff, facilities, transportation and work. To the extent permitted by law, Solintsoft is not liable for shop conduct or agreements made outside the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Privacy and communications
We process data under the Privacy Policy. We may send operational messages required for accounts, security and appointments. Promotional communications, if introduced later, will require an appropriate legal basis and controls.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Deletion remains subject to legal obligations and retention needed for pending orders or disputes. See Account and Data Deletion.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. You may contact us to seek a good-faith resolution before starting a dispute, without affecting your rights before competent authorities.
